On April 6, 2016, Life Care Center of Leominster, Massachusetts, hosted a Rehab Spring Fling for current short-term rehab patients, former rehab patients from the past six months and their families.

The dietary department served a variety of appetizers, including stuffed mushrooms, spring rolls, vegetables and dip, assorted cheese and crackers and an array of delicious desserts. Guests also enjoyed non-alcoholic strawberry daiquiris and piña coladas.

Members of the rehab department stopped by to say hi and see how their rehab graduates were doing. The former patients were happy to see the staff and thanked everyone for the wonderful care they received.

“I give you all an A plus,” said attendee William Lavalee, who was a rehab resident in January. “I have recommended you to all my friends and family. You are the best, and this lunch is wonderful.”

“I was happy to see the invitation,” said his wife, Constance. “I will watch for all your events this summer.”

“This party is so nice,” said resident James Litterio. “The food is delicious.”

“We host this event twice a year,” said Stephanie Phillips, admissions coordinator. “It is nice to see how our discharged patients are doing and for them to share their experience with us.”
