On March 17, 2016, associates from Life Care Center of Leominster, Massachusetts, served three St. Patrick’s Day meals, including two in the community.
Peter Campbell, dietary director, and his team prepared corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots, along with soda bread. Not only did residents at the facility get to enjoy the special Irish-themed meal, but so did local seniors and homeless individuals.
Associates served lunch to more than 100 seniors at the Leominster Senior Center.
“I can’t say enough about the care and love my mother and my family received while she was at Life Care Center of Leominster,” said Richard Marchand, who volunteered to help with the meal. “It is my pleasure to be here and serve alongside them at this event. Life Care Center of Leominster truly gives back to its communities in many ways.”
From the senior center, it was off to Our Father’s Table, an organization that feeds the homeless. Associates from Life Care Center of Leominster served more 100 people for dinner.
“It was a long day but a rewarding day for our team,” said Campbell.
